In mid-July, during BadlFest and around the feast of St. Mary Magdalene (July 22) – the patroness of the town, Krapinske Toplice become a cultural and entertainment center of Zagorje. The festival was named after the founder of health tourism in Krapinske Toplice – Jakob Badl. This event combines the spirit of past times, traditions and modern culture, where attractive locations host musical evenings under the stars, a series of cultural and sporting events for all generations as well as the ability to enjoy nature and thermal springs.
